What? The STC bandfest. "Theresian Rhapsody in Concert"
How much? ONLY 50 pesos. Discounted if you buy from me. Maybe 40 or 30 pesos. =D
Where? STC high school covered court. Entrance is Gate 3.
When? Febuary 9, 2007. 5:30-10:00pm which would probably extend to 12.
Who? Kiko Machine. Kjwan. Rivermaya. (There's one more guest band but it's unknown and not sure. Offered by the radio station who is sponsoring us)
Who else? Theresian talents. There are 12 bands and 4 dance groups. (bands are takes from 32 so they gotta be worth something to have gotten in)
What for? It's for SEFI students. The students in STC who can't afford the tuition. And for Gawad Kalinga. The program where they build decent houses for homeless people. All the money goes to charity. The bands are actually playing for free.
Eh! Do I have to? YES! I'm playing. This is the first and last time I'm playing in the bandfest. If you wanna know why, you're free to ask me personally. Also, the songs that we're gonna play aren't really STC-type of songs. More of heavy 'guy-music'. It's not really appreciated by most girls in STC so the band would really appreciate it if there were supporters cheering us on. I'D REALLY REALLY APPRECIATE IT. I SWEAR I WILL LOVE YOU IF YOU SUPPORT US. Still not good enough? If you're lonely, you can hunt for girls or boys there. In the dark. Grab someone.

INTERCONNECT 2! Saturday, January 20, 2006! Bands: Blazing Bulalakaw, Ang Bandang Shirley, Giniling Festival, Radioactive Sago Project, Paramita, Up Dharma Down. 6:30-12:30.

Yup, there was a concert in our school yesterday. I was kinda surprised since the school, being the corny sucky school that it is, finally decided to have a slightly improved school function. Anyway, before the thing started, we decided to eat out first. Original plan was in Ice Monster. Not so crowded place that we usually hang out in. But then we changed plans and decided to meet in school. I came first then I saw Karla. She wanted to go to Starbucks so I said sure. We weren't really sure where the nearest Starbucks was so we asked for directions.

Karla: Uy, tanong kaya natin kung san.
Me: Kanino? Sa kanila? (Points to a group of girls)
Karla: Taga STC ba yan?
Me: Parang hindi.
Karla: Excuse me. San yung pinakamalapit na Starbucks dito?
Girl: Malayo po. Sa Banawe po tapos dirediretso.
Me: Wow. Nakatulong yun eh.
Karla: Tara na!
Me: Malayo nga raw! (Text ni Tissa: San ka na? School na ko)
Me: (Calls Tissa) Uy, papunta kaming Starbucks. Jan pa ba car niyo? dito kami sa.. san ba to?
Karla: Calamba st. Sa may Gate 4
Me: Sigurado ka? Oi Tis, Calamba raw. Sa may Gate 4.
Tis: Sige, punta na ko
After a couple of minutes.. Tissa calls
Tis: Dito na ko sa Gate 4. San kayo?
Me: Ha? San? Nasa tapat ako ng gate
Karla: (Tawa lang)
Me: Baka gate 6! (Calls Karla gago)
Tis: Ahh sige. pano pumunta jan?
Me: Right ka.

Then we caught a ride with Tissa. Hahaha! Pakapalan na ng muka to. Yes, I'm losing my principles. I went to Starbuko. Anyway, after buying over-priced drinks, we went back to STC and met up with Kim. We walked around the Grade School grounds. Huwaw. There were lolas and mommies and daddies and kiddies. Bad move, STC.. bad move. Tsk tsk tsk. And then the stage was low and then there was a little stairs thingy in front. And in front of the stage, people were just sitting on the lawn. WTF right? But they moved away when the bands started so okay lang. Anyway, tambay muna kami while the UP concert singers were doing their thing. Tagal nga eh. Then kain muna. Then tambay ulit. Yes, ganun ka-tagal. And then the bands started. Siksik sa harap. Yup, I would squeeze through the crowd just to get up front. Heck, I'd push someone. Probably not a kid or an old lady. But someone. Pangit parin spot namin. There were two girls in front of us.. Kim's classmates.. who were one of the 'maarte types'. Mentally, I was like.. what the fuck are you doing here? And then there were 5th graders behind us who kept screaming their section to all the bands. Attention whores I tell you. First band was Blazing Bulalakaw. Parang badtrip yung vocals. No one was moving when they were playing. He told us to headbang or something. Ha? Hineheadbangan ba yan? Eh slow song yan eh. Then Ang Bandang Shirley. Ayos sila. I like them. But their songs are a little on the lovey dovey side. But I like them cause their style isn't like most of the Pinoy bands today. Yup, it pays to be unique. Then Giniling Festival. I loved them. Hahaha! Astig yung lead guitarist nila. Aliw yung isang guitarist. Long hair! Yung bassist, aliw rin. Voca... tangina. Sobrang laughtrip!

Uh.. LSS? xD Gahahahaha!!!! Then Radioactive Sago Project. They played Baboy. Hahaha! Baboy raw ako. xD Yeah! Then.. Paramita. Er.. umalis nalang kami. We sat somewhere in the lawn. How would your feet feel if you were to stand in a crowd for hours and not be able to jump/move around? Then Tissa left. Pinapauwi na. Haha. Kim and I went back to the crowd when Up Dharma Down was playing. Er... okay lang sila. I guess. Then end na. Then uwian. Hatid si Kim kasi it's dangerous to ride a trike that late.

Guys, please please please go to the Bandfest on Feb 9. I'll be playing and our band went through a lot of shit to keep it together. So please. Haha. I need your support! xD Asenso naman guestbands eh. Although, they're not my type.. they're kind of big time bands that would attract crowds. Kjwan, Rivermaya, ChicoSci, etc. Sobrang daming pending raw. Pano ba naman kasabay ng bandfest yung Xavier Variety Show & UST Variety Show. Sino ba nagorganize nyan? Una kami!

Okay. Been an extremely long time. So let's make our way backwards again. x3

Today. Very weird day. Haha but fun nonetheless. During Research class, we were doing experiments in the lab. Our group couldn't do our experiment coz it was too complicated, so I was just jumping from one group to another. Looking for something fun to do. Which were... watch people melt chocolate. Eat peanuts. Watch boiling water in beakers and shit. Bothering Tissa and chasing her around. Gahaha. Anyway, I was watching them heat the peanuts when the water started over-flowing. They were shouting and calling for Sir Maki. Meh, I didn't really stand back since it was just boiling water and it didn't scare me much. So I was pretty much in front when Sir came.

Sir: (Water splatters on his arm) Aray!
Sir: Gano na katagal 'to nagbo-boil?
Group: Uh..
Sir: (Looks at me)
Me: Sir! Di po ako taga-dito! (Goes behind Donella.. who was in my group)
Donella: Sana nag-oo ka nalang.

Hahaha! Panic? Then, I was so hyper today. I dunno.. I was just weird. Then last period - Geometry. I was about to finish when Mrs. Garcia was watching me answer.

Miss: Mahirap? Umoo ka.
Me: Uhh.. (Smile. Shrug)

Haha.. last time she asked me that I said no. And then she said something like.. mahirap raw, panay tama sagot mo..
When I was relaxing after the test, waiting for others to finish, she took my paper and looked at it. May mali raw. Last item. Then she told me how to do it. Then I did it. But I was feeling kind of pressured since everyone was done and some were watching me and waiting me to finish. I never finish last in Geomety tests so.. yeah.. pressure. My hand was shaking and my brain was kinda woking slow. Yeah, I easily get pressured. xD

Miss: OS ka ba?
Me: Ako po?
Miss: Yeah.
Me: Di po.
Miss: Malapit na?
Me: (Shakes head. Goes back to panic-answering.)

Haha. Talagang gusto ni miss perfect score ako. xD Then after the test, Mrs. Garcia told about this contest thing. Everyone who was good in Chemistry, Alebra, and Geometry were to join in some contest thingy, but the girls who were in the training program were not including. Meaning, the smart kids like Yanpi, Jowa, Reg, Lienne, etc. weren't joining. Just smart but average kids. Then she started mentioning names.

xD Yeah.. not much people like her. Oh well. Anyway, hm... I guess I could participate... Don't they know my Algeb grade probably dropped during the 3rd quarter. I failed quizzes and the test. Yeah, didn't study and I didn't listen to Sir Ben on that quarter. Uhm... there's always the 4th. xP

Last tuesday, the 16th. Our first band practice. Labo. No vocalist. Just Me, Kim, Elvie, and Pae. Walang napuntahan. Practice of Mata ng Diyos. Think of a good bandname. Think of a good 2nd song. Think of a good sound check. Dapat malupit. First impression lasts. Haha. It was still fun though. Lamon after the practice. Then uwian.

13th. A Saturday. We went to Greenhills. Promenade. Buy tickets for the movies. Eragon. Griffin & Pheonix. Robinhood comedy something. Tagalog movies. Tagalog films automatically crossed out of our list.

Me: Ano gusto niyo? Comedy or Love Story?
Kim: Eragon. =D
Me: Ang kulit! Napanood ko na nga yun eh!
Kim: Haha
Tis: Ako rin gusto Eragon.
Me: Grr. Sige na nga. Panoorin ko nalang ulit.
Kim: (Nakonsensya) Haha. Hindi! Wag! Napanood na niya yun.
Me: Comedy or Love Story?
Kim: Ayoko ng love story! Comedy!
Me: Jacky Chan?
Kim: Yack! Ayoko ng Jacky Chan!
Me: Ba't hindi? Okay naman ah. So love story?
Kim: Eh..
Me: Vote ko love story nalang. Parang pangit yung comedy.
Tis: Sige, love story nalang.
Kim: sige na nga.

So we ended up watching Griffin & Pheonix. Nakakatawa yung katabi namin. Kung umiyak parang namatayan. Sige, choke on your tears. Tapos kinikilig. Eww. After the movie. Tangina ako lang naiyak saming tatlo. Not exage like the girl in our row. Just teary eyed. xP I'm a sucker for romance. Yeah. I admit it. Haha. Love makes the world go 'round.

December 30 - 31. Saturday & Sunday. It was Karla's birthday sleepover thing. Haha. Who was there? Karla's relatives. Me, Aly, Alexa, Jowa, Ninay, Katkat, Kuya Levin (Did I spell that right?), and Chengly were there. But only Aly, Jowa, and me slept-over. Of course Kuya Levin and Chengly slept-over too. They were Karla's relatives. Anyway. Hung out in the condo. Hung out in Promenade. Hung out in Timezone. Wasted lots of cash. Hung out in the condo. Played PS2 complements of yours truly. Barely slept. More games. Chit-chats. It was fun. Haha. Pics in my Multiply.

New Year's eve. I slept around 7-12. What? I barely had sleep at Karla's party. Woke up. Received lots of text messages. All greetings. Greeted everyone back. So if you know I have your number and you didn't get a greeting from me, especially when you're a Globe-user. It's not my fault. xP

New Year's day? Jan 1. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO KENJI YOSHIKAWA. If you're reading this, yes I do remember. Who couldn't? It's Jan. 1. Haha! xD Anyway, Cabonce family came here to visit us. I loved the cookies 'n' cream cheesecake by the way. Haha. Anna finally received her bday/xmas gift from me. She loved the skirt I gave her. Of course, even if I'm not girly, I have good taste. Bahahaha! Anyway, they left pretty early. Pfft. I think they only stayed for two hours? You're no fun. xP

Jan 3-4. Karla and Aly slept-over here at my house. Haha nothing much. Watched movies. Played video games. Slept late. Woke up late. Went to the mall. Spent money. Looked for Soccer stuff. Haha. Yes, I'm taking soccer sessions with Karla in summer. I've always been interested in Soccer. Yeah, it's the only sport that caught my eye. I've wanted to play since I was a kid and I've always envies my guy friends who know how to play. Damn bastards won't teach me. Haha.

That's all. School starts on Monday. Intrams. Blah. Also, cramming starts tomorrow.
